Microalbuminuria Test Kit

BioTest
Microalbuminuria Test Kit checks urine for the presence of a
protein called albumin. Healthy kidneys take wastes out of the
blood but leave protein. Impaired kidneys may fail to separate a
blood protein called albumin from the wastes. When the kidneys
are working properly, albumin is not present in the urine. But
when the kidneys are damaged, small amounts of albumin leak into
the urine. This condition is called Microalbuminuria which is a
sign of deteriorating kidney function. This is the most
important first step screening test for people in the high risk
group of getting CKD.
